Take Care Groups @ the CSDC

Our Take Care groups bring together students who want to foster personal growth, to overcome a personal challenge, or simply to be the best you can be. We want to help students to tell their stories while building community; the best strategy for optimizing your mental health.

Take Care of You

Is it difficult for you to manage stress? Are negative beliefs getting in your way? Do you sometimes question who you are and what you want out of life?  Would you like to feel more connected to and communicate better with others? Take Care of You is a series of supportive workshops in which you’ll work collaboratively with professional counsellors and other group members to build skills, increase self-awareness, and enhance your mental well-being.

Fridays 2-3:30pm

• A trained counsellor will lead the group and guide the process. They will help you find your place.
• Share with others what and how much you want.
• Learn and grow with 5-15 other students.

Book an initial appointment to meet with a counsellor to find out if Take Care groups are right for you. In most cases, they will be. However, if you are in crisis, or are really struggling with your mental health, we may recommend more intensive support.
