Study Music to Help You Perform Higher on Exams

We’ve all heard of the renowned research that playing Mozart to babies makes them smarter, but did you know the same effect can be said for adults? According to research published in Learning and Individual Differences, listening to classical music is beneficial for the brain as it decreases stress and anxiety levels, increases focus and relaxation, and improves sleep patterns. French researchers found that students who listened to classical music in the background prior to taking a quiz performed higher than students who didn’t.

Maybe EDM, rock, or hip-hop is more your thing, but I personally enjoy a good twinkle tune now and then when I get into some heavy cramming. Here is a collection of my favourite classics guaranteed to (hopefully) get you an A on your next exam:
