If you didn’t get a chance to go to Happy Place, the Toronto Christmas Market, Aurora Winter Festival, or any other event where you could have grabbed jaw-dropping Instagram pictures, look no further. Toronto’s downtown Hudson’s Bay has transformed into an eight-room extravaganza for visitors to enjoy for FREE.
That’s right my fellow broke university friends, this place is absolutely free and open to anyone for the rest of the winter season.
The installation, named #the7TO, just opened last week and has already generated a lot of attention and excitement. You can partake in the hype by taking the elevator up to the seventh floor of the Hudson’s Bay, located right on Queen Street.
Last week, I decided to venture up to the rooms with our RU Student Life photographer, Amanda Kuo and let me tell you, we had an absolute blast. And a whole lot of embarrassing moments, but that just adds on to the fun. Each room is well designed, lively and will be sure to put a smile on your face.
So, Rye students, grab some friends, dress-up or down and enjoy this aesthetically pleasing and magical exhibit while it lasts!
Here is how our adventure to #the7TO went.
