Hi! I’m Nathan Sing and I have been chosen to be one of your #RoadToRyerson reporters this year. I’m from Vancouver, British Columbia.

Since I was a child, I have always dreamed of being a journalist. For the last couple years, I have been doing work in radio, print and broadcast!

I love to meet and connect with new people, hear their stories, their passions, their interests, and their perspective on life. With all I will learn at the Ryerson School of Journalism during the next four years, I am confident I will have not only the knowledge, but also the confidence to passion into a career as I break into the industry.

This is an exciting time for all of us! We’re coming from near and far, for completely different programs, and coming together in the heart of the biggest city in Canada – the 6ix.

I can’t think of a more diverse, fast paced environment to be going to school – and I’m so excited to start my journey at Ryerson

I will be V-logging everything from travel diaries, Move-In Day, Orientation week, dorm tours and more! Follow me on social media for the next couple of months, as I move from Vancouver to Toronto, settle into my dorm at Pitman Hall, and set off on the #RoadToRyerson.
