Look for job opportunities now

At least three things are certain about student life: there’s never enough time to do all your readings, exercise will take a backseat to any good party and there’s always more money to be made. Even if you’ve managed to penny-pinch, tuition, textbooks and those shoes you saw at the Eaton Centre are constantly on a mission to leave your wallet lighter than before.

That’s why getting a job on campus is one of the smartest and most convenient ways to help with that lack of cash-flow. While work study spots are filled by now, it’s never too early to start thinking about next year. Luckily for you, applications for the 2011-2012 student ambassador team are open right now. These are the guys and gals you might have seen around campus, dressed in red coats, leading tours of  high school students trying too hard to look older and moms and dads enthusiastically nodding at brochures. You can make $12 an hour with a flexible schedule, built around your classes and assignments.

Good luck!
