Writing Support (formerly known as The Writing Centre)

Let’s face it, essays are hard. The writing centre provides advice and support, by engaging in individual and group discussion for any aspect of your writing, throughout any stage of your writing! Book an appointment with a trained writing consultant, or pop by for drop-in hours listed on their website.

English Language Support

English Language Support offers free help for any multilingual student at Ryerson who wants to better engage in their learning environment. Offering assistance with developing communication skills – writing, listening, and reading – English Language Support encourages academic success in a stress free environment, while allowing students to meet, and practice their skills with other peers. Academic Accommodation Support (Formerly known as the Access Centre for Students With Disabilities)

Serving as a resource for students, this access centre provides disability related support by increasing access and reducing barriers to further all students’ academic success at Ryerson. Geared to help students with learning disabilities, sensory impairments, acquired brain injuries, ADHD, and mental health, medical, and mobility issues. For more information, see here.

Math Centre

Centre for Student Development and Counselling

Whether you need moral or academic support, the Centre for Student Development and Counselling is always here to help. Offering free and confidential counselling sessions, trained professionals are always available to work through your problems or concerns. Feeling nervous about counselling?
