I’m not a big sports person. I love watching soccer and I’ve been known to frequent a few Raptors games but when it comes to university sports, I don’t know much.
I do know that the Ryerson Men’s Hockey team is going toe-to-toe with York University this Thursday. This time, I have no excuse not to go. A free bus trip has been organized to get all of Rye’s Ram fans out there. The bus will leave from in front of the RSU building at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
You’ll get some free grub on board the bus to make sure you’re good to go at the game. There will also be a raffle going on, with two $100 Adidas gift packs and one pair of Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat tickets. It’s a lot better than your school bus trips back in middle school. And in case you’re worried about getting home in time to study (wink, wink), the bus will be taking students back to campus after the game.
