Industry Connect: Communications Security Establishment (CSE)

Tuesday, February 6, 2018 | 5 – 7pm | 7th floor, Heaslip House
CSE is one of Canada’s key security and intelligence organizations, focused on collecting foreign signals intelligence in support of the Government of Canada’s priorities, and on helping protect the computer networks and information of greatest importance to Canada. We also provide assistance to federal law enforcement and security organizations in their legally authorized activities, when they may require our unique technical capabilities. Open to 3rd year, 4th year/final year students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and its applications.

Don’t miss this year’s New Grad Career Fair, where students about to graduate and recent alumni can attend, get connected, and get hired for a range of exciting opportunities with diverse companies. The New Grad Career Fair is open to all Ryerson University and University of Toronto undergraduate and graduate students as well as recent grads from all programs of study. Voices of Experience: Accessibility

Tuesday, March 6, 2018 | 5 – 7pm | POD 60 (Career Centre)
The voice of persons with disabilities is strong and distinctive, but often marginalized. Navigating accessibility when entering the workforce as well as building a career often presents unique challenges. Join us, as we learn more about some of these journeys from a panel of professionals with a myriad of experiences. Voices of Experience is a unique speaker series that brings together Ryerson alumni, employers and community leaders to share with students the successes and challenges of their career journeys. With a focus on industry sectors or career-related equity issues, each event brings together up to five dynamic guests. The interactive panel discussion will be followed by a freestyle networking hour.
