#LoveWithoutBorders Photo Contest

In a world of intense global mobility, the idea of “home” becomes difficult to name.  Who are we, and where do we belong?  How do the many aspects of our identities such as culture, race, gender, language, sexuality, and ability – among others – interact and intersect to make us feel at home or alone in our bodies, or in particular spaces.  What does it mean to fall in love or to experience desire across boundaries of place, gender, culture, religion, class, creed, ability?  International Student Support (ISS) is hosting the #LoveWithoutBorders event to engage the Ryerson community in discussions on home, desire, identity, and what it means to experience love and belonging across borders in a free evening of reading, drawing, dancing, and music.  On and off campus artists, performers, and story tellers will read and perform their work and will engage the audience in discussions on identity, and what it means to experience love and belonging across borders. International Student Support (ISS) is creating a photo exhibition on the theme #LoveWithoutBorders.  Photos will be accepted for submission until 4pm on Friday, March 18th, 2016. The top 25 submissions will be displayed in the Student Learning Centre Amphitheatre during the reception.
